"For a long time kids had been under-serviced in terms of magazines. Not that there's weren't enough of them, it's just that they had become so formulaic that it was hard to tell one from the other. Thank goodness for Anorak then. From the moment of it's inception it embraced the imaginative and nonsensical world that children often inhabit. Just having stories that didn't have to hang on a moral crunch at the end was refreshing enough. Add to that the radical illustrative graphics of Supermundane and it's a pretty neat package."
